Outreach Prayer Guide
Pray with us for our Outreach Ministries, third Sunday, after 2nd service, 12:10-1pm, Room 158.
All those who believe and trust in Jesus have been sent by God to be ambassadors for God’s Kingdom (John 20:21 & 2 Corinthians 5:20). Some of us are simply sent further to different countries of the world and need supporters to help fulfill the call from God to be a minister of the Gospel of Christ into the world. Please join us in supporting our Local and Global Outreach ministries and missionaries through prayer.
Summer 2026
Mozambique Outreach (Michael Boso, Volunteer Country Director)
This summer will be a challenge in Mozambique as we go to a country devastated by floods in the south and conflict in the north. We are sending three teams of Chapel members this summer. Each team will have a unique focus. The first team to go will be primarily college students from Campus Focus. One of the challenges they face is funding. We have wanted to have open doors to these students hoping to give them a global perspective. Also providing a life changing view of missions. The team will be visiting Chimete village in Gaza Providence. This area was hit hardest with floods this year. We will do an evangelistic crusade with the local church. Baptizing and encouraging the local church members and those that come through the crusade. We will also do home visits and an open market campaign. These are just a few of the stops along the way. The other teams are from the Green Chapel and Corners Chapel a total of 40 people will be sent this year. Prayer points include. Effective ministry in all the villages we reach. Large response to the Gospel message during crusades, and campaigns. The local churches maybe built up and encouraged. We will be building social capital in the villages by good words good deeds. That the hearts and lives of our team members would grow to maturity in Christ and a revelation of world missions. That those that are called to consider going on in missionary lifestyles would respond. That physical and spiritual healing would be seen in a tangible way through the ministry of Jesus name.
Short Term Missions
Our college team just returned safely from Yucatan, Mexico where they were serving a town called Chikindzonot. We have two additional teams, High school and All-Church, that are preparing to head down in June to continue to serve and support the church in the Yucatan along with groups serving in Mozambique.. Be in prayer for the hearts of the team members as well as the people in Yucatan and Mozambique, that they would be equipped with the Gospel and led by the Spirit.

India Outreach (Doug Lauer, Volunteer Country Director)
Regular Opposition - Everyday there is persecution in many different forms. Please pray for the Lord’s protection over all the pastors and community members. Difficult Situation - In most of the rural villages, Sunday worship, fellowship and meetings are now strictly prohibited. Arrests of Christian workers is very common. The pastors live in constant fear. Pray for the mercy of God. Health and Sickness - A variety of tropical and water-borne diseases are spreading, and we pray for protection for family members who have been stricken. Thank God, despite such difficult scenarios, the workers are faithful to their calling and service: wherever possible - worship, fellowship and all other activities of the community is being taken care of by these dedicated workers. Grace, mercy and protection by our Lord is needed all the time due to the hostile environment. Pray for all six schools we have helped to start in India over 20 years. Pray for the one school currently under a suspension due to insufficient regular funding. Pray for a successful appeal to the Indian Supreme Court against anti-conversion laws since constitutionally India has freedom of religion along with the freedom to practice one’s religion. Additionally, please pray for the school manager in India, James, who was attacked at his school in India and was critically injured recently. He will require surgery in the future to be completely healed from his injuries. Thank you for all your prayers!
