Baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision to follow Christ. This ceremony symbolizes the death and burial of the old life devoted to sin, in order to re-emerge in the newness of life with Jesus.
If you're ready to follow the command to be baptized or want to know more about the significance of baptism in the life of a believer, this one-week class is for you. This class is required for any person seeking to be baptized at The Chapel.
Adult class: August 17 at 9am, room 153
Youth class: August 17 at 10:40am, Student Ministry Room
NOTE:
There will be a special Prayer Night on September 14 at Camp Carl, with baptisms.
If you’d like to be baptized at Camp Carl on this day, you’ll need to have taken a Baptism Class at The Chapel—either at a previous session or by attending this class on August 17.
