What we’re building
The A2 Houses
The Chapel owns two homes located right next door to the University of Akron.
We want to see these houses launch into a season of powerful gospel work as a launchpad for the college ministry to love the thousands of college students studying next door.
A Third House
We want a third house to be a vehicle for hospitality space and gospel work.
Additional Staff
CF needs a new staff member. Part of the funds raised would get us some runway to hire on a new staff member.

The Details
Our recent fundraising campaign successfully raised half a million dollars aimed at significantly enhancing the living conditions of two residential houses that serve as key community hubs. These improvements include modernizing essential facilities, expanding communal spaces, and upgrading accessibility features to ensure everyone feels welcome. Additionally, a portion of the funds is dedicated to hiring a new staff member for our college ministry, Campus Focus. This new hire will play a critical role in extending our outreach efforts at the University of Akron, fostering meaningful connections with students, and creating engaging programs that support their spiritual growth and community involvement.
Beyond facility upgrades and staffing, the raised funds will support the development of new educational events, leadership training workshops, and fellowship activities designed to strengthen ties within the local student body and the broader Akron community. These efforts reflect our commitment to nurturing a supportive environment where young adults can explore their faith, build lasting relationships, and become active contributors to both our ministry and the campus life around them. Through this comprehensive approach, we aim to create a vibrant, inclusive space that inspires growth and engagement for years to come.
